Fundamentals of Anatomy: Connect The Dots to Release The Knot
Program Pre-Requisite or equivalent
10 HOURS
CONTENT
Fundamentals of Anatomy is the pre-requisite course for Second Wind’s Certification programming. The goal of Fundamentals of Anatomy is to learn the basic “language” and methodology of human anatomy in order to be able to successfully demystify the vastness of the material. In Part One, The Skeletal System, we review the skeletal structure and bony landmarks of the body, as well as anatomical terms, definitions and actions as our learning foundation. In Part Two, The Muscular System, the major muscles of the body and their muscular attachments are reviewed. We explore the basic biomechanics of the spine, head-neck, hips and shoulder joints to understand the interrelationship of muscles, joints and anatomical actions.
