ARC BARREL
The Arc Barrel is a classical Pilates 'small apparatus' that both facilitates and challenges the Pilates Mat repertoire. Emphasizing spinal mobility and core stability for full-body control and postural balance, the movements learnt on the Arc are easily integrated in to regular Pilates classes. The Arc helps clients to find and instructors to teach deep abdominal support for spinal movement in all planes of motion. It is small and easy to use at home.
FOAM ROLLER
The Foam Roller workshop is a creative and dynamic movement series that combines functional fitness with useful rehabilitation components for a balanced approach to working with your body. On the one hand, the Foam Roller invites gentle tension release and spinal decompression. On the other hand, the instability of the Foam Roller challenges alignment, control, coordination, and core strength. It is easy to incorporate this inexpensive but useful tool in to classes and at home for self-practice.
LARGE STABILITY BALL
The Ball workshop enhances body awareness, coordination, core strength, and whole-body movement. Students learn movements and exercises that combine upper body arm strength and lower body leg strength with core stability and mobility, challenging your ability to move with control while having fun! Find your core connection.
THERABAND
This is a wonderful tool! This workshop will introduce you to creative ways of selectively adapting the Pilates repertoire to facilitate muscular activation and balanced flexibility. You will improve your ability to connect to an integrated strength for functional fitness, offering you one more way to change things up and move forward in your fitness level and body knowledge.
RESISTANCE CIRCLE
This useful Pilates tool can be placed between your thighs, hands, arms, or ankles, inside and out, and over and under. A seemingly innocent little circle, it will become one of your best friends! This workshop will introduce you to a series of simple, but powerful movements that enhance your Pilates repertoire and fitness level to boot!
